ABOUT MAM MALAYSIAN ESPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP
The MAM Malaysian Esport Championship is Malaysia’s first National Esport Championship for Motorsports.
Qualifications will take place on-ground from 8 January to 18 February 2024 in 4 locations across 3 classes. Drivers can qualify on two platforms – RaceRoom and Assetto Corsa. The top 15 from each class will advance to the Nationals.
Winners will receive medals and other prizes. The winner in each category will be recognized by the Motorsport Association of Malaysia (MAM) as a National Champion. Each winner will also be given a free test where they will share a drive in a Malaysia Championship Series touring car around the Sepang International Circuit.
CATEGORIES
JUNIOR – Drivers below 16 years of age
CLUB – Drivers with a B or C MAM Esport License
PRO – Drivers with an A MAM Esport License
QUALIFICATION
Qualifications will take place on-ground only at 4 locations in North, South and Central Malaysia from 8 January to 18 February 2024. Drivers can choose to qualify on RaceRoom or Assetto Corsa.
Drivers will use the RaceRoom platform in RaceRoom Auto City and RaceRoom Ara Damansara. Drivers attempting to qualify at Axle Academy will use Assetto Corsa. A total of 15 drivers in each class will then compete in the Nationals.

Qualifications are open to all Malaysians and permanent residents. To enter, drivers must become an MAM affiliated club member and register for a 2024 MAM Esport License. If a driver is not an MAM affiliated club member, registration for the Axle Sports eRacing Club will be available at each qualification location.
Mechanics for Qualifying
• Drivers will need to book sessions with each location during opening hours.
• Each qualifying location will have a leaderboard where drivers can post a time during the qualifying period. There is no limit to the number of attempts for each driver.
• Once registered, drivers can set a time for free on the leaderboard. Each attempt takes 10 minutes.
• If drivers wish to set another time, they must become an MAM license holder. The Esport License cost is RM30 per driver.
• To get an MAM Esport License, drivers must also be a member of an MAM affiliated club. Membership forms for Axle Sports eRacing Club will be available at all qualifying locations for drivers who are not members of an MAM affiliated club. The cost is RM 50 per membership.
• Once drivers have an MAM Esport License, they will get only 1 free try to set a time. If drivers wish to keep on trying after that, each additional attempt will cost RM30.
Qualification closes at 8pm on 18 February.
THE NATIONALS
The 2024 MAM Malaysia Esport Championship will be multi-platform where drivers will have to race on 2 different platforms – RaceRoom and Assetto Corsa – over 4 rounds. All rounds will be held at RaceRoom Ara Damansara.
ROUND 1: 2 – 3 March (RaceRoom)
ROUND 2: 6 – 7 April (Assetto Corsa)
ROUND 3: 11 – 12 May (RaceRoom)
ROUND 4: 1 – 2 June (Assetto Corsa)
